Co je to Arcade / Arkáda

Arcade, neboli po našem "arkáda" je velký a težký automat na kterém běží některý z Dance Dance Revolution simulátorů a najdeme ho v hernách nebo v klubech. Princip je stejný jen s tím rozdílem, že arkádu nevezmete na ramena a neodnesete na vyzkoušení ke kamarádům, protože váží zhruba tak 300 kg (většinou jde o počítač zavřený v kovové konstrukci s hardpady a senzory) a můžete hrát jen to, co už v mašině je (Obvykle tak 50-150 songů, 1 themes a 1 nebo pár noteskinů. Pokud jde o arcadu a announcera, bude tam jen jeden nebo žádný.) Jedná se o automat nevýherní, ale vy za hraní platíte. Hraje se v botách. Co se týče samotného programového vybavení - arkády mají o něco přísnější hodnocení než počítačové verze, ale zas jsou jednotné po celém světě a díky tomu se na nich hrají turnaje nebo kvalifikace na turnaje na světové úrovni.

V naší republice byla jedna arkáda - Dance Station 3DDX 2 D-Tech - a to na pražském Andělu (Smíchově), v budově obchodního centra Nový Smíchov úplně nahoře ve VGH - Virtual Game Hall. Jako první ji začali používat až členové Czech DDR. 3DDX je arkáda s hardpady pro nohy a zároveň se senzory i pro ruce.

do not have unique arrow patterns in different game modes.

Information on songs that are compatible with 6-panel mode and Double Maniac

Terms used in the list:


"Fully Functional" - This song has a unique set of arrows in all modes

"No 6-panel" This song does not have a unique set of arrows in 6-panel mode
in solo mode. In other words, the song will play exactly as it would in 4-
panel mode, there will not be any up-left or up-right arrows.

"No 2X Maniac" This song does not have a unique set of arrows in Double
Maniac mode. In other words, in doubles mode, selecting this song on Maniac
will give you the same arrow pattern as selecting that song on Trick.

"No Battle" This song does not have a unique set of arrows for each player.
In other words, both players will be given the same dance pattern with no
steps unique for player 1 or player 2; often this is the same as the Basic
dance pattern. (Note: A * next to "No Battle" indicates that the battle
pattern is not the same as the Basic pattern. It is most likely a unique
dance pattern, but both players still get the same steps, there are no
"player 1 only" or "player 2 only" arrows.)
